We have been saved from the bondage of Satan, We have
a new life in Christ. Now that we have Christ in us,
there is no stopping us. We are more than conquerors
in Christ Jesus. We are Christians! What is a
Christian? "One whose sins have been forgiven", might
be a common definition. But Christ did not die on the
cross just so our sins could be forgiven. God had much
more in store for us. (In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus
Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will" -
Ephesians 1:5
)
God planned that in Christ we would
experience the honored position of sonship with all
the special privileges that accompany being part of
Gods family. This is best illustrated by comparing the
celebration of our physical birth to our spiritual
growth.
(But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ and seated us with him in
the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." Ephesians
2:4-6)
What does it mean to be in Christ? This is our position as a child
of God. Too often Christians don’t realize what it
means to be in Christ, and therefore they don’t
experience the family heritage. As children in Gods
family, we are to yearn for the Spiritual Milk which
is the word of God. As we take in the Spiritual Milk,
we grow and mature in Christ until we have come to the
fullness of Christ.
Be assured in your journey and the fulfillment of Gods Glory
through use of you! May peace be with you as a member
of Gods family.
